sternocleidomastoid..... headache muscle

The SCM muscle is one of the most over looked muscles when it come to treating headaches.

This muscle has a tremendous impact on where your neck is positioned and how your head feels. Add to that, we typically don't stretch it.

If you are suffering from a headache today follow these Instructions. It's so easy a caveman can do it. 😁

  1. Pinch and hold these trigger points for 90 seconds each. Some may be more sensitive then others. The more sensitive it is, the longer you hold it. The pain will subsided with pressure.

2. Stretch the SCM- hold stretch for 30-60 seconds.

Stretch number 2- hold 30-60 seconds. Make sure to rotate you chin up and over as far as you can.

These trigger points and stretches can reduce or eliminate your headache in minutes without the use of NSAID'S.

Obviously, if this doesn't help Fort Worth, you may have some other trigger points that need addressing. In that case, schedule a 30 minute medical massage to fully knock out the pain.

Massage is an amazing tool in the fight to keep your body feeling normal. For some it's a luxury, but for those in chronic pain, it can change your life.
